monument (Grave of the Virgin Mary)

Located on Ukrainska Str. not
far from the museum, and recognizable by its pyramid shape,
the so-called Grave of the Virgin Mary bears the names
of soldiers from Tovste who died in battle in the Second
World War.
Also known as the Independence Monument, there are occasional
public gatherings at the site on Holy Days (such as 24
August, 14 October, etc.), which are presided over by
priests. |
